Scary Movie

Review - I've been a fan of the Wayans family since 'I'm Gonna Git You Sucka' and 'In Living Color’ Keenan, Damon, Kim, Shawn, and Marlon can ROCK parody.  If you've never seen Fox's 'In Living Color' then you've missed the best variety show since Saturday Night Live's Hey-Day.  Shoot, even Jim Carrey was a cast member until it's demise in the early/mid 90's.

Keenan Ivory Wayans (the Director ya'll) has accomplished what must be second nature to him.  A damn funny movie.  Scary Movie is the overall-horror parody.  Pulling punches (and dialogue) from every major horror source in the last few years.  Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Sixth Sense, KaZaam, & the WB Network.  They even parody American Pie, Amistad, and The Matrix...Nothing is sacred.

For the connoisseur of fine horror fare, this is the definitive joke on the subject.  If you liked any of the other 'Gross-Out Comedies' of the late 90's then this one will fit like a glove...Hah-hah. Dawson Leary, you ROCK!
