Review - So I'm interested in see the film Clive Barker calls, "The most scary, stylish horror movie I've seen in years." I'm here to tell you "Don't waste you time of the most jumbled, incomplete piece of horror trash this year."
Ok so maybe that's a little rough but this movie fails on so many levels and succeeds only in scaring and then pissing you off. Victor Salva (Powder) has directed, rather well, the most jumbled and incomplete script (which he wrote) I've seen in quite a while.
Gina Phillips & Justin Long star as brother and sister on a lonely ride home for spring break. Their long winding trail leads them to a mad road warrior, an abandoned church, and underground lair, through two small towns, a psychic, one old lady with a shotgun, a police station, an old abandoned industrial building, and the most god-awful (senseless) thing south of heaven.
Each of these pieces are introduced to you and then quickly forgotten an unexplained. As the rather creepy (even scary) Jeepers Creepers shows you more and tells you less the film destroys itself and in its place creates this year’s biggest waste of time.
Note - It figures, talks are already in progress for a potential sequel. God help us.
